Advertising is changing. Online media takes larger and larger chunks of the advertising market. ADPOINT automates the handling of online ads - exactly as it does for print ads.
In ADPOINT, online ads can be processed through virtually the same workflow as print ads.
But since online ads behave differently, preflight and conversion processes adapt to the nature of these files.
Sizes are compared in pixels rather than mm or inches. Interactive links are verified and framerates are flagged to prevent excess usage of bandwidth.
But online ads are also fully integrated with the production features of ADPOINT. This means that online ads can be produced using resources like the electronic job bag, the digital asset management module and the integration to the production application like i.e. Adobe Flash.
The ADPOINT proofing feature also supports online ads since ads can be annotated “in space and time”, meaning that the annotation tools are now fully integrated with the timeline that indicates the progress of the online ad.
The support for online ads means that ADPOINT now offers the full overview regardless of ad publication platform. Further our interfaces to the ad booking systems as well as interfaces to ad serving solutions are being developed.
